Sundays should be a day to step back, refocus, and prioritize what truly matters: faith, family, and friends. In a world that constantly demands our time and energy, dedicating Sundays to rest and spiritual renewal allows us to reconnect with God, strengthen relationships, and find peace beyond work and entertainment. Setting Sundays apart fosters deeper family bonds, meaningful conversations, and lasting memories. It also provides time to invest in friendships without the distractions of sports schedules. Choosing to forgo sports on Sundays isn’t a loss—it’s a way to honor God, nurture what truly lasts, and find fulfillment beyond the game.
Tournament Day Format

“Good morning and welcome to our Faith Sports tournament day information. We’ll begin with each team participating in their regular warm-up routines in preparation for the day’s events. Once warm-ups are complete, all teams will gather at center field for a brief opening prayer, which will be live streamed to allow family and friends to join us. Following the prayer, tournament play will officially begin, accompanied by a variety of family-friendly activities and entertainment for children. As the games continue, lunch preparations will be underway, with food and activities running through the majority of the afternoon, concluding around 4 to 5 p.m. We will close the day with an awards ceremony to recognize our champions—this final celebration will also be live streamed so loved ones can take part in the moment. Thank you for being here, and we look forward to a meaningful and enjoyable day.”
